  Paderborn Center for Parallel Computing (PC2)\, provides an introduction
  to essential Linux tools that can significantly enhance your productivity
  and workflow efficiency. Whether you are a beginner or have some experien
 ce with Linux\, this course will equip you with the knowledge and skills t
 o leverage powerful Linux tools to streamline your tasks.\n\nTopics\n\n\n	
 Remote text editing and processing\n	Automate tasks using Bash scripting\n
 	Terminal multiplexer\n	Code management with Git\n\n\nThis course includes

 urse is ideal for Linux users and developers on HPC systems\, as well as a
 nyone interested in improving their Linux skills to enhance their workflow
 .\n\nCourse format:\n\n\n	on-site and in-person\n	online\n\n\nPlease note:
 \n\n\n	The language of the course is planned to be English. If you don't f
 eel comfortable enough with English\, we can make this course also in Germ
 an at a later date upon request.\n	If you would like to join the course in
 -person\, please bring your own laptops. No special operating system is re
 quired. You can participate with Windows\, macOS or some Linux-distributio
 n. Please make sure that the wireless connection of your laptop works (for
  example with eduroam). In case you don't have access to eduroam\, we can 
 provide wireless network connection during the course.\n	If you would like
  to join the course online (via the Zoom Meeting at Paderborn University)\
 , the link and more detailed information to join the course will be availa
 ble\, once your registration is complete.\n\n\nThis course is free of cost
  for members of German universities or publicly-funded research institutio
