Description

-- Great Computing Comes with Great Support --

The competence network HPC.NRW has the goal to support current and future researchers with the High-Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructure in North-Rhine Westphalia. It combines the expertise of the large HPC centers (so-called Tier-2) with the consulting services of smaller (Tier-3) centers.

In order to inform about the network we are organizing an event, which provides basic information about HPC, the support opportunities for researchers in NRW, the software usage concepts, the available HPC resources and the computing time application processes. We hope to have an open exchange of experiences with any interested researcher. This includes researchers from universities of applied sciences and all facilities without compute centers.

Location

The event will be online (Zoom).

Registration

Please register until Tuesday 1 Jun, 2021. To register you don't need an account, you can simply click the "Apply for participation" button below.

Costs

The event is free for all researchers in NRW.

Language

The workshop will be held in German or English (depending on the preferences of the attendees).
