HPC.NRW and MathWorks cordially invite you to this hands-on workshop about Interoperability of MATLAB and Python.
Do you need to use MATLAB and Python together? MATLAB® provides flexible, two-way integration with many programming languages, including Python®.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to use Python from MATLAB with practical examples. Participants will be able to benefit from the strengths of two of the most powerful tech computing environments. The whole is more than the sum of its parts.
The course will take place on Thursday, June 29, 2022, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. It will be held online via Zoom. The login credentials will be e-mailed to participants prior to the event.
The registration is open to members of universities and other academic institutions in North Rhine-Westphalia. The course is free for both students and employees.
We will admit 30 people. Upon registering you will be put on a waiting list. You will be notified by June 15, 2022 on whether you were accepted.
If there are more than 30 registrations, we will randomly select the participants. Everybody else will be put on a waiting list. If somebody cancels, we will offer the place to the first person on the waiting list.
This course is the second in a series of four courses that are held in summer 2022 and encompass the following topics:
As we will be using MATLAB Online (MATLAB in a browser), a MATLAB installation on your desktop is not required.
Working knowledge of MATLAB of MATLAB is recommended. Check out the available self-paced online training courses on MATLAB Academy, e.g. https://matlabacademy.mathworks.com/#core-matlab
