HPC.NRW and MathWorks cordially invite you to this hands-on workshop about Machine Learning with MATLAB. This half-day course will focus on machine learning fundamentals, and on building and evaluating machine learning models to classify human activity based on signals.
During this workshop we will do hands-on exercises that you can adapt for your own projects.
The course will take place on Thursday, July 7, 2022, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. It will be held online via Zoom. The login credentials will be e-mailed to participants prior to the event.
The registration is open to members of universities and other academic institutions in North Rhine-Westphalia. The course is free for both students and employees.
We will admit 30 people. Upon registering you will be put on a waiting list. You will be notified on June 22 whether you were accepted.
If there are more than 30 registrations, we will randomly select the participants. Everybody else will be put on a waiting list. If somebody cancels, we will offer the place to the first person on the waiting list.
This course is the third in a series of four courses that are held in summer 2022 and encompass the following topics:
As we will be using MATLAB Online (MATLAB in a browser), a MATLAB installation on your desktop is not required.
Basic MATLAB skills are recommended. If you are a complete MATLAB beginner, you can look through the MATLAB Academy, specifically the free MATLAB Onramp online course to familiarize yourself with MATLAB beforehand.
