On March 2 - March 4, a training for the scientific programming language Julia is available. The course is taught by Dr. Carsten Bauer (http://www.carstenbauer.eu/) and will include talks, exercises/hands-on sections as well as Q&A sessions.
Prerequisites: Strong interest to dive into Julia (most important), basic programming knowledge in any programming language, and, ideally, familiarity with basic Julia syntax.
The event is organized by the competence network HPC.NRW and Paderborn Center for Parallel Computing (PC²).
The number of seats is limited and the allocation of seats is done in a first-come-first-serve model. There is a reserved limited-time contingent of seats for members of universities that are members of the competence network HPC.NRW.
The event will be held in a virtual way via Zoom video conference. This course is free of cost for members of German universities or publicly-funded research institutions in Germany.
Please Note: The Registration to this event has been closed. The course is severly overbooked and thats why we have to close the registration. We appreciate and thank you for your interest and hope that we would be able to accomodate you in future course offered by HPC.NRW at the Paderborn Center for Parallel Computing in Paderborn.
